When I first heard about the DC Metro crash, I immediately thought that it happened because of human error. Now, I find out that the train which crashed and caused this incident was not only 30 years old, and had been in constantly in service during all those years, but the train in question was also judged to be either replaced or upgraded three years ago angers me. Not only because this occurred in my metropolitan area, but also because the excuse for this oversight was… money. There wasn’t enough in the budget. I would like to think that public transportation, especially in times of economic hardship, would be an area in which the government, federal and state, would take an interest in. Seven people died because of this incident, and if other public transportation vehicles are having trouble with their upkeep as well, I can see little safety for any of the American people.

yea I saw the news too. 7 people died and 70 were injured from this worst tragic accident in the history of DC metro. Not only the train was 30 years old, but also the train driver was recently hired. There is a possibility of error of computer system or perhaps it is recently-hired driver's fault.
